Warm and friendly, the Barossa Country Cottages at Lyndoch are tucked away among shady gums in an Australian bush garden setting in this quiet, rural location, yet they are close to the heart of the Barossa Valley. They have been a landmark in Lyndoch for the past 11 years.

Historic Lyndoch, “The Village of Wine and Roses” is an ideal place from which to experience the Barossa Valley and environs, with its many wineries, restaurants, landscapes, heritage buildings and other attractions.

Our Cottages are self contained, comfortable and spacious, an excellent place to relax and enjoy the tranquility, bird life and clean country air.

They are perfect for quiet romantic escapes, family getaways, or for a small group of friends to unwind. Ideal for long or short visits, sightseeing and exploring. Children are welcome.

Our philosophy is to provide an atmosphere of comfort, relaxation and generous hospitality at a moderate tariff. Barossa Country Cottages offers holiday accommodation at its very best in the Barossa Valley.

The Cottages

Jacaranda Cottage has 2 queen size bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 persons. This cottage also has a cosy wood fire in the lounge/dining area.

Geranium Cottage has a queen size bedroom, a twin bedroom and a sofabed in the lounge. It can accommodate up to six people.

Each cottage has:

1. A lounge/dining area.
2. A fully equipped kitchen
3. A bathroom with separate vanity and toilet
4. Bedroom linen, extra blankets, towels and spa robes
5. Electric blankets, hair dryer
6. An automatic washing machine, dryer, steam iron and ironing board
7. Reverse cycle air-conditioned comfort
8. Colour TV,CD player, books, magazines and games for children and adults
9. High chair and cot available
10. Front verandah overlooking a pleasant shaded garden full of Australian bird life
